Mrs. Debbie Barber

 

Hi!  My name is Debbie Barber.  I am the director here at The Little Shepherd Preschool since 2013. I have worked at Little Shepherd Preschool since 1988.   I have a Masters in Early Childhood Education.  My passion in life is children.  I love working with them and spending time with them.  I especially love being a part of their growth process and helping them learn to love school and learning.

I have been married to my husband David since 1979.  We have three grown children (Melendy, Megan and Matthew) and seven grandchildren.  All of my children and Five of my seven grandchildren have attended the Little Shepherd Preschool.  Each of them has wonderful memories of their time here, and they have maintained friendships with those they met during their Little Shepherd years.  My family is the most important thing in my life, and I love to spend time with them.  I love to travel and see all the beautiful places our world has to offer.  Disney World is one of my favorite places to visit, and my goal is to experience Hawaii, Ireland and Australia.

When I am not at the school, you will find me spending time with my husband, my children, or my grandchildren, reading, playing games, singing, taking walks, or spending time with my friends enjoying a wonderful meal, and seeing God's creations in this world.

I am very blessed to have two wonderful families, my family and my Little Shepherd family.  Thank you for sharing your family with ours.  I look forward to many more blessed years here at the Little Shepherd.
