Year Two Program
Year Two dives deeper into the concepts the students were exposed to in Year One. More in depth group discussions and self directed activities based on the skills from Year One will help your child gain the skills they will need for kindergarten, while also gaining self-confidence in their knowledge and abilities. Focus on strengthening math concepts, as well as growing from their current knowledge will be a major part of this school year. We will work on pre-reading skills as well as exposure to sight words. This year allows children to solidify skills and become more developed socially and emotionally before moving onto kindergarten. Your child must have turned four by September 1st of that school year to enter the four-year-old program.

The Monday through Friday full day students will also have a music, art and physical education class. The days of the week will be listed in the teacher’s newsletter once school begins.
